Filipina Maids enjoy fighting in Singapore during their off days
Netizens on social media have spotted in Singapore what appears to be Foreign Domestic Labor during their day off. What started as a rest day for these hard working young ladies who came from afar to work as a Maid in Singapore turns out to be squabbling match where they are seen shoving, yelling and causing problems to one another.
Local security arrives at the scene but is hard pressed to stop them from their rowdiness as there were simply too many of them.
An advice to young girls who come seeking a better life. Work hard, save money and go back to a better life. Why come all these way taking heavy loans to pay for airfares and agent fees only to get into trouble and be set back empty handed? Many girls have came and done their jobs well and returned as friends to the people who have employed them. Yet if the general mindset is to come, act tough and do itchy stuff.....there can be only one outcome and the outcome has never been beneficial for those who try their luck against their employers or the law. Decisions we make will impact our lives forever. Being set back with massive loans and having to spend months repaying while working back where they come from isnt an enviable position. There can be NO win for those who behave badly as Singapore will cancel their permits and punish those who abuse their privilege as a foreign worker.
A son of the land can be counselled, punished but he will always be a son of the land....even when he is old and sick, the country will care for him and if he cannot work due to illness....the Com Care can provide financial assistance. Foreigners do not share this same privilege.
